Oh no! Your racing spaceship got sabotaged - and there is no time to fix it before the race! No Flight Assist module and no brakes. Only your skill and the crank!

What is FAOR?

A top down asteroids like race in ZeroG in which you'll experience G-forces so intense, they might make you black out. Make maneuvers that are only possible with the Playdate crank and make it to the finish orb as fast as possible.

When can I play it?

This game is currently in development and will be released in May 2024. Add this page to a collection to get notified about new Devlog entries and the release!

Roadmap

Version 1.0 ( May 2024)

• Polished space race feeling with high FPS and very accurate crank navigation
  
• 5 Levels with their own high-score leaderboards and very different styles (with nicer visuals than you see on the gifs currently)

Post Release

• New ships for different piloting styles
• New and more levels
• Alternative play modes
• Find hidden artifacts in the level to reveal lore pieces

Hi there. I'm Vik (he/him). A solo game developer and "Flight Assist Off Racer" is born out of my love for the Elite Dangerous FAOff flying style (aka Flight Assist Off) mixed with my fascination for the Playdate console.
